(before I start pontificating, please pray for Sam and Patti! Just pray for them and I will keep you posted).
Hope ya'll took advantage of your right to vote. We voted yesterday (officially) in Illinois.
I voted last week (?) for the Bern.
Hilary finally was declared winner of the prairie state. (Way past my bedtime)
by 10,000 votes!?!?!?!?
But that's alright. Hil needs to know that she ain't the "autochoice" for women of ANY color. Actually,
and vote for whom they wish.
And I guess we did. Gave her a scare, I would wager.
I love The Bern. Or as in the Chicago area we call him "Da Bern"
Also the vile (maybe a bit too strong, but I am going with it) contest for State's Attorney is finally over! (Because a Republican doesn't have a snowflakes chance against the Democratic Machine dat runs da state. (oops, slipping back into the old vernacular)
Kim Foxx beat the incumbent...What's her name....
I SO voted for her. (Foxx) Not because she spells her name like Redd Foxx either, although that is
kind of cool. No it was more a vote AGAINST the old one (let's call her Shmanita).
The execution of Laquan McDonald was Shmanita's downfall. The police officer who gunned the young man down is being tried for murder, which is right. The young man was high on something.
BUT HE WAS ONLY SIXTEEN--WTF WAS THIS MF (COP) THINKING?
The only thing that was going on in his mind was "kill this scary black kid, NOW!" If he was even capable of thinking at all. And that was a year and some months ago. The only reason that ANYONE knew about this was the release of the "Dash Cam" video.
Hey guess what? That could have been my son. On drugs yes. But to shoot him SIXTEEN TIMES????????????
You don't kill a sixteen year old kid, merely because he is running down the street-
The cop wasn't even charged with a crime until the video was released.
And now we have a brand new spanking clean (?) states attny. We will see what we will see.
