Sunny Day! Off work today! Hip hip hurrah!

Thor's Day
Woke up to the sound of the hubby's alarm...0715.
That's ok.
Quite often my body wakes up at 0530 so I did, officially, sleep in.
( I was really awake at 0630 and trying to sleep a little bit mo...a little bit mo..)

Tomorrow I meet with the anesthesiologist; the pre-surgical visit. Oh boy.
Would you please get out of my head!
and some electrodes implanted into my brain.
"May I ask you, Ms Caroline, what are your true feelings about having BRAIN SURGERY???".
"Why yes you may ask, Mr. Important Reporter, and I will tell you that I am
Then a week later I become the super bionic woman when I get the battery pack implanted.
(Batteries sold separately)
So hoping to be better.
So hoping to have a bit more normal life.
SO hoping my head stops bobbling because it really hurts the neck and shoulder muscles.
These muscles are already rigid from the Parkinson's---I don't need the extra pain.
Pain is a pain. (how profound)
I told the hubby that this is worse than labor.
And I know because I had TWO babies without the epidural or anything.
It is worse than labor because labor doesn't last for seven months.
Thank God it is abating.
Exercise and stretching are immensely important in living with nerve pain as well as PD.
I have been working hard at my exercises I learned at Physical Therapy.
They totally work IF YOU DO THEM!
I am finally able to get on the treadmill again and last about 10-12 minutes.
I would like to take a moment right now to give a big thumbs up to all Physical Therapists everywhere.
They don't get anough credit for the amount of good they do. Did you know most have their doctorates now? Every PT I have ever had has been so nice, so patient, so compassionate. They really think about what they are doing and are always able to help...well help me at least.
So, a big Mwahhh (I am throwing a big kiss ) to all the PT's out there. May you always remember to use correct body mechanics and may you never be troubled by back, sciatic, or any kind of pain whatsoever.
I must get on with this wonderful day off.
Make hay while the sun shines and all that.
Ta ta,
enjoy the day, kiss your local PT, and try not to get any extra holes drilled into your head.
Sunny day, sweeping the clouds away.....
Until the next,
Peace and love...

I have had about seven months of constant pain, sometimes so intense I it makes me cry. That is how bad nerve pain can be.
